Terms of Service

Texclon is an AI-powered messaging assistant that learns your writing style and generates suggested replies on your behalf. By default, Texclon always requires your approval before sending any message. You may optionally enable auto-send for a persona on Pro or Elite plans, which allows Texclon to send replies automatically without prior review. By using Texclon, you acknowledge that messages sent through the service originate from your connected account and you are responsible for their content.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Texclon. You are responsible for: • Keeping your login credentials secure and not sharing them with others • All activity that occurs under your account, including messages sent by Texclon on your behalf • Ensuring the email addresses and contact information you add to your account are accurate You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits.

You agree NOT to use Texclon to: • Send spam, phishing emails, unsolicited bulk messages, or commercial solicitations without consent • Impersonate another person in a way that is deceptive or harmful • Harass, threaten, defame, or abuse any individual • Send content that is illegal under applicable law • Violate the terms of service of any connected platform (Gmail, WhatsApp, Slack, Instagram, etc.) • Attempt to reverse engineer, exploit, or abuse Texclon's AI systems or infrastructure • Use Texclon to generate and send messages without the knowledge or consent of the recipient We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without refund.

Texclon generates replies using third-party AI providers (Groq, OpenAI). You understand that: • AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for a given context • You are solely responsible for reviewing and approving AI-generated content before it is sent • Enabling auto-send means messages are sent without your prior review — you accept full responsibility for those messages • Texclon is a productivity tool, not a legal, financial, medical, or professional advice service We are not liable for damages arising from the content of AI-generated messages that you send or auto-approve.

When you connect Gmail or another platform, you grant Texclon OAuth permission to read messages and send replies within the scopes you authorise. You understand that: • Texclon will send messages from your account when you approve a reply or have auto-send enabled • Recipients will see the messages as coming from you, not from Texclon • You can revoke platform access at any time from your dashboard settings, or directly via your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions • You are responsible for ensuring your use of Texclon complies with the terms of service of each connected platform

Your plan determines how many messages Texclon can process per month, how many contacts you can add, how many platforms you can connect, and whether auto-send is available. Specifically: • Free plan: 50 messages/month, 3 contacts, 1 platform (Gmail), approval mode only • Pro plan ($14/month): 500 messages/month, 8 contacts, 3 platforms, auto-send available • Elite plan ($29/month): Unlimited messages, 15 contacts, all platforms, auto-send available When you reach your monthly message limit, Texclon will stop processing new incoming messages until your limit resets at the start of the next calendar month. Upgrade your plan to increase limits.

Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically on the same date each month until you cancel. Cancellation: Cancel at any time from your dashboard → Settings → Billing. You retain full access until the end of the current billing period. No pro-rated refunds for partial months. Refunds: We offer a refund within 7 days of your first payment if Texclon does not function as described. Contact support@texclon.site with your account email and reason. Price changes: We will notify you by email at least 30 days before any plan price change. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new price.

Our Privacy Policy (texclon.site/privacy) explains in full how we collect, use, and protect your data. Key points: • You own your data. We do not sell your data. • We do not use your messages, contacts, or emails to train shared AI models. • Your contacts data is stored securely and never shared with third parties. • You can delete your account and all associated data at any time.

Texclon may send you transactional emails including: • Pending message digest notifications (when you have messages awaiting approval) • Subscription and payment confirmations • Important account and service notifications You can disable pending digest emails from your dashboard → Settings → Notifications. Some transactional emails (e.g. payment receipts) cannot be disabled as they are required by law or contract.

We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform scheduled or emergency maintenance that temporarily affects the service. We are not liable for losses caused by downtime, service interruptions, or third-party provider outages (Gmail API, Groq, Supabase, etc.).

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law: • Texclon is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service • We are not liable for messages sent by Texclon on your behalf that cause disputes or harm • Our total cumulative liability to you shall not exceed the total amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim

You may delete your account at any time from dashboard → Settings → Delete Account. We may terminate or suspend your account immediately for violations of these Terms, without prior notice or refund. On account deletion or termination, all your data is permanently deleted within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain it longer.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Texclon operates. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to binding arbitration or the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. We will notify you by email of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of Texclon after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
